Who We Are
Williamsburg Area Faith in Action volunteers provide nonemergency medical transportation to individuals who are ambulatory independently or with the use of a cane or walker. It is provided for doctor or dental appointments.
In many areas of Greater Williamsburg, public transportation is not consistently available or is too difficult for older adults to access. Transportation is also available for grocery shopping, to beauty salons or barbershops, libraries, churches, errands, and more.

Intake Process
Intake information is collected by phone. Allow approximately ten minutes to complete the intake. Some services require an assessment. Applicants will be notified during the intake process if an assessment is required. Advanced notice of transportation needs is required.
