Who We Are

Veterans Transportation Program (VTP) helps Veterans who are visually impaired, elderly, or immobilized due to disease or disability, particularly those living in remote and rural areas meet their transportation needs. One program, Beneficial Travel (BT) has the potential to reimburse eligible Veterans or their caregivers for costs incurred traveling to and from VA healthcare facilities. 

BT may arrange special mode transportation (SMT) at the request of VA.  Under certain conditions, veterans may be eligible for transportation such as bus, taxi, airline, or train.
