Who We Are
The Franklin City Health Department offers Communicable Disease Surveillance and Control services that provide screening, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of all persons exposed to specific diseases; tuberculosis, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), HIV/AIDS, foodborne illness, and more. Information is given regarding prevention from exposure, recognizing symptoms, and obtaining treatment. Information on medication and other assistance is available for low-income persons in the Western Tidewater Health District.
