Who We Are

The Rockingham/Harrisonburg Health Department offers services related to communicable diseases.  Communicable diseases are infectious diseases that are easily transmitted from person to person.  Health department staff provide information on a variety of communicable diseases, as well as how to properly report and respond to disease outbreaks.   Various diseases that can impact the area include:
