Who We Are
Angel Flight East (AFE) is a 501C3 organization that flies patients to and from treatment centers far from home. Volunteer pilots use their own airplanes and cover all costs of the flight. AFE covers a 14-state footprint - Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, Delaware, Rhode Island, West Virginia, Connecticut, Vermont, and New Hampshire. They link up with other volunteer pilot organizations.

Must be flying to or from anywhere in their 14 state footprint.
Other Eligibility Criteria
Must be ambulatory and able to sit up during the duration of the flight. Patients must be able to step up approximately 36 inches, usually onto the wing of the plane to enter through a small door. Adult patients are welcome to bring 1 caregiver. Children are welcome to bring both parents.
