Who We Are
Pulaski Area Transit was started on October 1, 2005, with a Demonstration Grant from the Virginia Department of Rail & Public Transportation in the amount of $171,000, using (two) 12-passenger buses running 16 hours of service per day. It has grown considerably since then.
The staff of Pulaski Area Transit, the Town of Pulaski, and Pulaski County remain excited about their public transit system and providing a quality service for the residents of Pulaski Town and County. Their drivers are dedicated to making your ride safe, reliable, and comfortable. The office staff is equally eager to help you with your transportation needs. If you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns, please feel free to call 540-980-5040.
All vehicles are wheelchair accessible and those who qualify for ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) services may ride the fixed route free of charge.
