Who We Are
Danville's Mass Transit System offers flexible, convenient, and economical service options. The Danville Transit System does not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability.
The Handivan service is available to residents of the City of Danville who are determined to be unable to use the fixed-route service due to a physical or cognitive disability. The Handivan provides door-to-door service. The driver does not transport an individual through the door.
Fixed Route service operates from 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Saturday. Half-fare discount is available from 6 am until noon on the fixed-route service for seniors, persons with disabilities, and Medicare cardholders. Handivan (paratransit) door-to-door service operates from 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Saturday. Reserve A Ride door-to-door service for the general public operates from 4 am to 12:30 am, Monday through Saturday. All buses are wheelchair-accessible.
Riders may bring a small, personal-use-size stroller or small cart, which must be securely held. The cart or stroller must have wheels or brakes that can be locked.
