Who We Are
Blacksburg Transit (BT) ACCESS is a paratransit door-to-door service complementing fixed route bus service in Blacksburg. This service is available for persons with a temporary or permanent disability who meet the criteria established under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Passengers must be certified to use BT ACCESS; applications can be downloaded or can be mailed by request by calling 540-443-1533 or 540-961-1803.
Fare is free on all transportation vehicles, including BT Access and services in Blacksburg and Christiansburg. No ID's or passes are required.

The Blacksburg Transit runs all throughout the year. Full service is from 7:00 AM until 12:45 AM Mondays through Thursdays, 7:00 AM until 2:45 AM on Fridays, 9:30 AM until 2:45 AM on Saturdays, and 9:30 AM until 10:45 PM on Sundays. Call for the reduced-hour schedule. All the bus routes and schedules can be found on ridebt.org or on the Blacksburg Transit app.
