Many Virginians face barriers to vaccine access, information, and education. Virginia Assistive Technology Systems (VATS) supports Virginians with devices, equipment, and training to access vaccination sites, register for their vaccine, and learn about vaccine availability and importance. 

For those who want and need the COVID-19 vaccine but have concerns about access at vaccination sites, we are pleased to introduce the VATS Vaccine Access Consultation. This is an assistive technology consultation to provide support in order to ensure people can receive their vaccines. Virginians are able to self-refer using NWD Direct Connect to receive a supportive consultation from VATS, specialized to connect individuals to the AT needed to receive a vaccine at their vaccination site.
