Who We Are

CVHS Buckingham, formerly Central Virginia Health Services helps patients who have difficulty affording their prescriptions . Income-based discounts may decrease the cost of prescriptions and both of pharmacies accept most prescription insurance cards.

CVHS patients without prescription drug coverage may qualify for medication assistance from pharmaceutical companies. Medication Assistance Program Coordinators help patients enroll in medication assistance programs. Medications are available for a small dispensing fee, or in certain cases, free. Patients may pick up their medications at the CVHS pharmacy or have them mailed for a nominal fee.
