Who We Are

The Mechanicsville Churches Emergency Functions (MCEF) Senior Rides program assists seniors aged 60+ in the Mechanicsville, Virginia area who cannot drive.  This free transportation program is for scheduled medical appointments, grocery shopping, and for personal business (such as banking).  Seniors must be ambulatory. No wheelchair transportation is available.  Our goal is to help seniors continue to live independently in their homes.  The service area includes zip codes 23111 and 23116.

While this is a free transportation service, donations are needed to sustain the program. We appreciate your generous gifts.

Transportation is also available for those who may have a medical condition that requires frequent trips for medical treatments such as physical therapy, chemotherapy, or dialysis.
