Who We Are

Richmond Behavioral Health Authority's (RBHA) Intensive Care Coordination (ICC) is designed to safely and effectively serve children and adolescents involved with Richmond’s Family Assessment and Planning Team (FAPT) who are in a residential treatment facility or at risk of being placed in a residential facility.

The goal of ICC services is to maintain, transition, or return a child or adolescent to home, family-like setting or the community at the earliest appropriate time that addresses that child’s needs. The functions of ICC are to be above and beyond the normal service provision case management services, and include comprehensive clinical evaluation, strengths and needs assessments, identification of supports, extensive service planning and implementation, discharge planning, intensive case management and review of service providers.
