Who We Are
At Planning District One Behavioral Health Services, Prevention Services prevent behavioral health, substance use and developmental disability disorders. Prevention Services involve individuals, families, communities and systems working together to promote their strengths and potentials. Services include:
- Working with the community to target risk factors and increase protective factors,
- Children First,
- Suicide Prevention (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training -- ASIST),
- Violence and Bullying Awareness (Communities Against Youth Violence),
- Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug Awareness,
- Parenting Education,
- Child Abuse Awareness,
- Community Coalition Collaborations,
- Information and Education Resources.
