Who We Are
A program of Horizon Behavioral Health, Mental Health Outpatient Services provide a full range of psycho-therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and their families. These services may include case management, medication management, and therapy, parenting support and education, and outreach services. Therapists are trained in a variety of evidence based treatment approaches to meet the needs of children, adolescents, and their families. Therapeutic interventions consist of individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, play therapy, and sand tray therapy. Specialty groups include various groups for girls, a teen pregnancy group, and anger management groups for boys and girls. The program provides outreach and coordinate services with the school system, local departments of social services, juvenile court service units, and make referrals in the community as necessary. Services are provided at multiple locations throughout the service area.
