Who We Are
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is a 525-bed tertiary care facility is home to Level I Trauma Center and burn trauma unit. Sentara Heart Center is located at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. In addition to the cardiac program, the hospital is home to Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance. Dedicated facilities and specialized services including Sentara Cancer Institute, Breast Center, Sleep Disorder Center, Stroke Center, Transplant Center, a Hospitalist program, a level II nursery, minimally invasive surgery techniques, neurosciences, reconstructive surgery and features a highly advanced electronic monitoring system for Intensive Care patients.
