Who We Are
Carilion Stonewall Jackson Hospital medical care is provided to patients in the comfort and security of their own home, with periodic home visits from professionals. Skilled nursing, home health aides, physical, occupational and speech therapy, and medical social services.
Care is provided to (1) patients who are newly discharged from a hospital or nursing home and may require skilled services such as IV infusion therapy, physical, occupational or speech therapy, wound care, etc. (2) patients who are recovering from surgery, (3) care for individuals who are frail, ill and/or disabled, (4) care and teaching to individuals with acute health problems, such as congestive heart failure, diabetes, respiratory disease or renal failure.
