Who We Are
Volunteer program for adults 55 years and older. Volunteer contribute their time and talents in areas including Meals on Wheels (through Prince William Area Agency on Aging), driving veterans/spouses to local medical appointments, food rescue, and volunteering at local hospitals located in Manassas and Haymarket. Prince William RSVP is sponsored by and housed at Voluntary Action Center of Prince William Area.
RSVP will reimburse volunteer mileage for driving to and from volunteer shifts, trainings, and luncheons. RSVP provides supplemental insurance should a volunteer be involved in an accident while serving as a RSVP volunteer. RSVP hosts an annual recognition event thanking each volunteer for their dedication to the residents of the community.
Volunteers need to fill out a volunteer application form and provide a driver's license and proof of auto insurance (auto insurance ID card). Volunteers interested in Meals on Wheels and driving veterans to local medical appointments must also complete a criminal background and driving record check.
