Who We Are
Mended Hearts, Richmond Chapter 28, offers the gift of hope to heart disease patients, their families, and caregivers. Affiliated with the American Heart Association. Mended Hearts partners with hospitals and rehabilitation clinics and offers services to heart patients through visiting programs, support group meetings, and educational forums.
Membership is not mandatory for services. Membership is open to people who have had heart surgery or heart disease, their families, and friends. Membership is for one year from the date of enrollment and includes chapter newsletters and the quarterly magazine Heartbeat.
