Who We Are

Lewis Gale Center for Behavioral Health officer a Partial Hospitalization program.  Programs that provide a therapeutic environment for individuals who have acute or chronic mental or emotional disturbances, who do not require full-time hospital care but who can benefit from a structured environment for some portion of the day or week. Services may include individual, group and/or family therapy; social and recreational activities; and a range of adjunct therapies.



The Behavioral Health Center also offers a free service, RESPOND, that enables you to speak with a trained mental health professional, any time of the day or night. If counseling or other treatment is the best solution, free psychiatric assessments, referrals, and admissions are available. Call 540-776-1100.

Intake Process
Call to make an appointment. A psychological assessment will be done and a determination which program would best meet the individual's needs. If medically indicated, the individual may be directed to go to the Emergency Department first.
