Who We Are

The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is the only federal workforce program targeted to low-income older workers. Through SCSEP, help is provided with employability training, assistance in finding part-time community service training with pay and assistance fining a non-subsidized full or part time job.



Individuals must be age 55 and older and meet income guidelines. Participants are matched with non-profit organizations, local government agencies or educational facilities. A maximum of 20 hours per week can be scheduled at minimum wage. Call for more information.



Provides participants with training, as well as encouragement to obtain a GED if not a high school graduate and to take computer classes.
