Who We Are

Dinwiddie Counseling Services, a program of the District 19 Community Services Board (District 19 CSB), provides community based services in the least restrictive setting to people in need by providing tools to improve their total overall level of functioning often resulting in personal growth and empowerment. Our population may include adults with serious behavioral health disorders, children and adolescents with severe emotional disturbance, and other consumers in need of behavioral health, developmental disability or substance use disorder services.

Clinics may provide the following services dependent on their location:

  • Assessments for services;
  • Case management for children, adolescents and adults;
  • Intensive outpatient services;
  • Psychiatric services;
  • Psychiatric evaluations;
  • Medication evaluations;
  • Individual, family and group counseling and therapy;
  • Substance use case management;
  • Substance use evaluations;
  • Substance use educational and process groups;
  • Drug screenings for consumers receiving other services;
  • Psychological testing for consumers receiving other services;
  • Community outreach;
  • Referrals and linkage to other programs.
