Who We Are
At Chesterfield County Department of Mental Health Support Services (CCMHSS), Developmental Disability Residential Services provides residential supports to adults with developmental disabilities based on individual needs. The program provides three levels of support:
- Supported living develops support plans for individuals who are living in their own homes based on the individuals’ needs and preferences.
- Group homes are staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The homes are three to five bedrooms and are located within various Chesterfield County neighborhoods.
- In-Home Services offers 24-hour on-call support for individuals living in the community or with their family.
- Intermediate Care Facilities offer 24-hour staffing, nursing care and occupational, physical and speech therapies.
