Group Homes, Developmental Disabilities, Northern Virginia

Community Systems, Inc. (CSI) offers small group homes containing two to four persons with developmental disabilities in Alexandria, Arlington, Centreville, Falls Church, Fairfax, Leesburg, Springfield and Sterling. Group homes provide congregate living arrangements to a small group of adults with recognized developmental disabilities. 

Residents receive primary care, which is comprised of a room, board, and general supervision. In addition, they receive assistance training, and specialized supervision according to their individual support needs and preferences. Each resident is encouraged to be as independent as possible with daily living activities, to achieve an improved quality of life through integration in community activities.

Small group homes offer persons the opportunity to gain personal skills they may not have acquired earlier in their life, such as in the activities of daily living, as well as in more substantial tasks outside the home such as food shopping and personal banking.
