Who We Are

Mountain Lynx Transit provides weekly public transportation for residents and visitors of Carroll County. Vans travel a fixed route with deviations possible. Call or visit the website for schedule information.

Customers are picked up at or near their homes in the county. The bus then proceeds to a designated commercial center where customers are taken to a destination of their choice. Multiple destinations may be accommodated depending upon the needs of all the passengers within the time allotted. In-town customers are welcome to board any county route while it is in town but must pay a separate 50¢ fare for each boarding. Destinations and stops on county routes are determined by the driver for the convenience of the county riders only.

Intake Process
Call the reservation line by 4:00 pm on the last business day before the trip. Provide the customer's name, telephone number, the exact address of the pick-up point, and destination. Request assistance is needed beyond standard curb-to-curb service. Customers will be given a pick-up time with a 30-minute window. Please be ready and waiting. The bus may arrive 15 minutes prior to or after the pick-up time. The bus driver cannot wait longer than five (5) minutes.
