Who We Are
Mobile Medical Outreach provides teams to serve the healthcare needs of persons living unsheltered in Fairfax County. The team is made up of a Fairfax County Public Health nurse practitioner, a Community Services Board mental health outreach worker, and a New Hope Housing outreach worker.
The program is designed to link unsheltered homeless persons to medical, dental and other services in the community, with the hope of reducing the expensive use of emergency services for more routine needs and at the same time improving the health of the homeless.
