Who We Are
Crater Community Hospice's mission is to educate the community on serious illness and end of life concerns and provide families and patients with quality care and supportive services.
Hospice care specializes in symptom and pain management for individuals who have a life limiting illness. Hospice works with the patient and his/her family to provide a comprehensive program of medical, psychosocial, spiritual and volunteer support, 24 hours per day. Care is usually provided in the home or home-like setting.
Crater Community Hospice was formed in 1995 by two area hospitals and is still the only locally owned non-profit hospice organization in the area.
