Who We Are
STEPS is a private, non-profit organization that provides job training and development for individuals with disabilities and TANF recipients which will lead to an employment outcome. These outcomes can range from employment within one of STEPS' facilities to working in an unsubsidized community job.
STEPS provides work evaluation and assessment, training, and support in their community-based employment programs for people with economic barriers to employment. STEPS services include:
Situational Assessment
A brief "real world" evaluation of an individuals' employability skills intended to establish a baseline from which to develop training plans.
Work Adjustment
An on-the-job training program intended to enhance an individual's employability and task specific skills.
Extended Employment
An employment/training program intended for individuals in need of a supportive work environment to ensure success.
