Who We Are
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Virginia chapter offers a wide range of free educational and support programs for patients, their families, caregivers and healthcare professionals.
From the Information Resource Center on the website, you can order free booklets and fact sheets, listen to archived audio files from past telephone and web-based education programs, find other helpful organizations and access additional resources.
Information is available about leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, treatment, support, and childhood blood cancer, suggested readings for children, teens, parents, and adult patients or caregivers, Frequently Asked Questions, drug listings, and signing up for free eNewsletters which are delivered monthly to your inbox.
You can also contact an Information Specialist by calling 800-955-457 or using the "Live Chat" option. Our live, weekly online chats provide a friendly forum to share experiences and chat with others about anything from the initial phase of diagnosis to treatment and survivorship. Each chat is moderated by an oncology social worker. For the disease-specific chats, dates and times, please see Online Chats.
