Inpatient Care Center

Blue Ridge Hospice is a community, not-for-profit healthcare organization that has been providing hospice care to patients in the Northern Shenandoah Valley and Western Loudoun since 1981. We offer individualized, patient and family-centered care based on the principles of comfort, dignity, and choice. Board-certified physicians and credentialed nurses, nursing assistants, chaplains, social workers, music therapists, and bereavement counselors make house calls and are accessible by phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center is the first hospice residential center in Northwestern Virginia and the surrounding area. Located in Winchester, the 8-bed facility provides a home-like environment for hospice patients who do not have a caregiver or whose family is not able to care for them at home.  The inpatient care center includes private rooms, each uniquely designed by local designers, and a family library room. 

Blue Ridge Hospice welcomes family members and friends of all ages to visit the Inpatient Care Center at any time, depending on their loved one's condition and desire for visitors.  Well-behaved pets with current vaccinations are also allowed.
