At Johnston Memorial Hospital a Palliative Care team will holistically manage chronic disease and end-of-life issues. This team includes physicians, nurses, a hospital administrator, a pharmacist, a case manager, a chaplain, a social worker, and a dietitian.  The team helps patients physically, emotionally, and spiritually deal with the difficult issues surrounding chronic and terminal illness.
