Medical Care

Charlottesville Free Clinic provides free primary medical care, prescription medications, and dental services to eligible low-income, uninsured adults. Services are provided to individuals without medical insurance, cannot have Medicaid/Medicare, and who do not qualify for free health care elsewhere in the community. Services are currently offered for ages 18 through 64.



Patients need to complete a financial screening to be seen at our clinic. Financial screenings can be done by telephone at 434-296-5525 or in person at the clinic office.



Offers primary medical care, women's health (excluding prenatal care), pediatrics, referrals to specialists and specialty services, patient education, prescription medications (prescribed by providers), routine laboratory and radiology services, limited mental health services, limited dental services, and referrals to social services and financial resources.
