Gastroenterologist

Gastroenterology Department specializes in treatment of disorders affecting the GI tract, including, but not limited to liver disease, Crohn's Disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome and ulcers. Staff has the ability to perform sigmoidoscopies on site; other procedures are done at Rockingham Memorial Hospital. Gastroenterologist will also see patients with problems of the stomach, colon, digestion, gallbladder, pancreas or liver. He performs upper and lower GI endoscopies, liver and GI biopsies and also diagnoses and treats patients with various bleeding disorders of the GI tract and uses ERCP to treat gall stones and insert stents.
