Who We Are

Veterans Transportation Service (VTS) established Mobility Managers at participating VA facilities to help Veterans meet their transportation needs.

A network of transportation options for Veterans has been established through joint efforts with VA’s Office of Rural Health and local and community organizations.  This program offers these services at little or no cost to eligible Veterans through the following services:

  • Beneficiary Travel (BT).
  • Veterans Transportation Service (VTS).
  • Highly Rural Transportation Grants (HRTG).

Mobility Managers at participating VA medical centers (VAMCs) assist Veterans in accessing transportation to VA medical centers or in some cases, to authorized non-VA appointments. Each authorized facility has ridership guidelines.
