Accessible Transportation

The Office on Aging provides transportation provides primarily medical transportation to adults age 60 and older who are wheelchair-bound.  Senior citizens can sign up to be added to the route.  Services are based on the income of the entire household. Insurance companies are not billed. Any fees are the responsibility of the individual.

Seniors in the Rocky Mount town limits who do not have access to another means of transportation can sign up to be added to the fixed transportation route if they live within the service area. 

Shopping transportation to grocery or other errands is generally twice a month.  Transportation to Senior Cafe is weekly.
