Who We Are
The SPAN Center Ride Connection is a mobility management service to help community members in need. Paratransit is recognized as special transportation for people with disabilities. If Senior Connections is not able to provide a ride, referral services are made to other transportation providers. Two round-trip rides per month can be offered to non-emergency medical appointments for persons who qualify and live in the service area.

Other Eligibility Criteria
Individuals with disabilities (age 18 or over) and older adults (age 60 plus) based on availability. Individuals who have other options in their community or access to rides via insurance are not eligible for rides but can receive support and information.
Intake Process
Please contact the office for more information or visit the website. A notice of seven (7) days is required to schedule rides, which are subject to availability. The hotline (804) 672-4495 is monitored throughout each business day.
