Who We Are
Transportation for cancer patients who are undergoing cancer treatments may be provided by Lee's Friends. Transportation is available to doctor’s offices, laboratories, radiation oncology centers, and hospitals for treatments. The program utilizes two vehicles and volunteer drivers to provide patients with needed transportation.
Riders must be ambulatory; no wheelchair transportation.

Other Eligibility Criteria
Any ambulatory cancer patient who needs transportation to and from a doctors’ appointment or treatment facility is an eligible client. As long as the patient can walk by himself or herself, they can get transportation.

The transportation program runs Monday through Friday. The first appointment time that is scheduled is 9:00 AM and the last appointment of each day is 2:00 PM. Return transportation is provided for all rides.
Intake Process
Call to schedule a ride. Calls must be received at least 24 hours in advance. It is highly recommended that requests for transportation are made as far in advance of your appointment time as possible.
