Financial Assistance Program

Centra, Virginia Baptist Hospital, is committed to providing Excellent Care Every time with dignity, compassion and respect. In order to serve those who may not have health insurance or other means to pay for their care, Centra Health offers a program of financial assistance. 



Government Programs - Centra Health participates in several government assistance programs such as Virginia Medicaid, Victims of Crime and Vocational Rehabilitation. Assistance is available to help patients in identifying eligibility for these programs. Financial Assistance Programs – Patients who need help in meeting their financial obligations for the healthcare services they receive at Centra Health may apply for financial assistance. Those who meet the criteria and are financially unable to establish the minimum payment required for services provided by Centra Health are strongly encouraged to contact a customer service representative.   Financial Assistance Policy provides complete detailed information regarding this program, including applications in English, Spanish and Chinese.
