Environmental Health Services

The Henry/Martinsville Health Department, part of the West Piedmont Health District, offers environmental health services. These services include education, inspection, regulations, and enforcement to protect the public's health. Health department staff make routine inspections and investigate complaints, review new or remodeling construction plans for regulated facilities, investigate rabies reports, promote food safety through permitting, inspections, and training, as well as provide permits for septic systems and wells.
