Who We Are
The Mental Health Skill Building Service helps individuals over the age of 18 diagnosed with serious mental illness to live independently in the community. Treatment focus is on developing basic living skills in the following areas:
Health and safety
Attending medical and psychiatric appointments
Activities of daily living
Use of community resources
Medication management
Nutrition
Symptom management
Money management
Building a personal support system and more
Services may be provided in the home or the community.
