Richmond Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) provides programs for diagnostic and treatment services for children, adolescents and adults who have acute or chronic psychiatric disorders, but do not need 24-hour care. This facility also provides counseling services for patients and families about emotional and personal matters, and who may be experiencing difficulty resolving stressful life situations. Most consumers who are admitted to RBHA for treatment through the Adult Behavioral Health Division may be eligible to receive ongoing care from an on-site psychiatrist. Additional services include:
- Crisis intervention,
- Behavioral health assessment,
- Case management,
- Primary care medical services,
- Support groups,
- Behavioral health skill building,
- Psychiatric rehabilitation.
