Who We Are

Emergency Services are available 24 hours per day. If you are currently in an emergency situation and need services immediately, you may call any of the Behavioral Healthcare Clinics listed to receive prompt assistance from an emergency clinician. Emergency Clinicians provide assessments, crisis intervention, hospital diversion, pre-admission screening, as well as other services. Emergency services are provided by credentialed behavioral health and substance use disorder practitioners who are skilled in emergency assessment, crisis intervention and pre-admission screening. Emergency services are provided in the least restrictive manner possible to promote individual and community safety, consumer autonomy and access to behavioral health and substance use disorder services.

Emergency services assist any person in Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange, or Rappahannock Counties who may be experiencing acute distress due to mental illness, a substance use disorder, or is at risk of psychiatric hospitalization.
