Residential Group Homes, Developmental Disabilities, Virginia Beach

Residential Services of Community Services of Virginia, Inc. offers group homes throughout the City of Virginia Beach. Group homes provide congregate living arrangements to a small group of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Consumers receive primary care, which is comprised of a room, board and general supervision. In addition, they receive assistance, training and specialized supervision according to their individual support needs and preferences. Each resident is encouraged to be as independent as possible with daily living activities to achieve an improved quality of life through integration in community activities. The Residential program also offers:

• Assist to develop daily living skills and goals;
• Access to community-based resources and activities;
• Person-centered planning;
• Access to transportation including wheelchair accessible vans.
