Who We Are
Mac Brownell Adult Day Center is a Loudoun County Adult Day Center whose purpose is to enable participants to remain in the community with family and friends for as long as possible and to provide support and respite to caregivers of older adults. The Centers serve older adults with memory loss or physical limitations who could benefit from a supportive social setting during the day to help maintain their skills, independence, and abilities. Adult Day Centers are located in Purcellville, Leesburg, and Ashburn.
Mac Brownell Adult Day Center in Purcellville offers a variety of meaningful and enjoyable recreational and social activities. Activities include cognitive games to stimulate memory and socialization, daily exercise and physical activities to help maintain or improve functional ability. It also provides assistance with personal care needs, a nutritious lunch and snacks, health monitoring, medication administration, and referral to community resources. Limited transportation, depending on availability and location, is available to and from the Center in Purcellville to limited surrounding areas. Fees are based on a sliding scale. This facility is co-located with Carver Center which is a senior center and community center. Capacity is 20.
