The VIEW (Virginia Initiative for Employment Not Welfare) program offers case management and support services to county residents who are or have been, within the last 12 months, recipients of TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families). This program provides job search support, crisis intervention, training and educational opportunities, transportation and other services so that families can gain and maintain stability. Participants must be or have been a TANF recipient.
Vehicles for Change offers individuals who are employed a minimum of 30 hours per week and whose families have incomes under 200% of the Federal Poverty Level the opportunity to purchase a vehicle for a nominal fee. For more information, contact Kara Earl at 703-771-5878.
Loudoun Workforce Resource Center offers resources and equipment to both job seekers and businesses. Available are job announcements, resume preparation assistance, computers, phones, fax and other resources to conduct a job search. The Resource Center is located in Leesburg at 102 Heritage Way, NE, First floor, rear entrance. Contact the Center at 703-777-0150 or email wrc@loudoun.gov. The Center is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00am-4:30pm.
