Who We Are
United Community (UC) Emergency Assistance program helps people in crisis meet basic needs and learn about resources for long-term self-sufficiency. Financial assistance for eligible individuals is available for prescriptions, rent and utilities. A financial planning class is also available. Please call for more information.
Referrals, if needed, are made to UC's Workforce Development Center, legal clinics and other services; Other assistance as needed - determined on an individual basis.
Service Area: southeastern Fairfax County; bounded by Potomac River (east and south), Ft. Belvoir(south and west), Telegraph Rd.(west), and I495 (north). Service Area: Mt. Vernon, Lee and Springfield magisterial districts. {Languages: Spanish, Polish, German, Portugese}
