Center for Pastoral Counseling of Virginia (CPC) has an office at Clarendon Presbyterian Church in Arlington. Counseling is provided for individuals, groups, couples and families throughout the lifespan. Clients come from all faiths as well as those who embrace no faith tradition. Interfaith counseling uses holistic approach respecting spiritual and emotional needs and makes no attempts to convert.
CPC counselors work with clients on a variety of issues including but not limited to: anxiety * children * cross-cultural or racial identity * depression * eating disorders * older adults * family * relationship or marital issues * phobias * sexual, physical, or emotional abuse * spiritual development * substance abuse * terminal or chronic illness * women's issues * work or professional issues.
The entrance to the counseling center is at the back of the church on the lower level. Look for the small white sign "Center for Pastoral Counseling of Virginia" on the wrought iron fence.
