Who We Are
Recovery and Transition services are provided in a 22-bed program for women who have completed primary care for an alcohol or drug problem. Individuals can stay for up to six months while gaining the skills and means to support their independent alcohol and drug-free living. Program emphasis is on transition and self-sufficiency.
Services are provided for any woman who has completed primary care for substance dependence and needs a transitional housing program, including pregnant women in their first trimester.

Recovery and Transition referrals should be directed to the Transitional Program Supervisor at the Courtland Center at 434-525-5723 between 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. To access Medical Detoxification, contact a detox nurse at (434) 455-2098
