Who We Are
Chesapeake Family Care Program Services provides family oriented living arrangements for adults with Intellectual Disabilities who would best benefit from an opportunity to live in a family setting and participate in homes and community life. The Family Support Specialist provides training for family care providers, screening and placing clients in Department of Social Services (DSS) certified homes, and helping providers implement individual service plans designed to increase client capabilities in independent living skills, self-care/health maintenance, recreation and leisure skills.
