Who We Are
The Alzheimer's Association, National Capital Area Chapter offers support groups that allow families and caregivers to meet and share coping skills and caregiving tips while developing lifelong relationships. Support groups meet on a continuous basis throughout the year, usually once or twice a month. Visit Special Events for more activities supporting the Alzheimer's Association.
Located throughout the Chapter's service territory, support groups are free and open to the public. Groups meet both during the day and in the evening at various locations. Groups are facilitated by trained leaders who have experience with Alzheimer's. To locate a support group near you, contact the 24/7 Helpline at 800-272-3900 or visit the website.
