Who We Are
Surgery Center. Ambulatory surgery facilities and laser treatments are available at Nelson Clinic and Stony Point. The Department of Ophthalmology offers comprehensive evaluation, consultation, medical and surgical management for all diseases of the eye. Faculty members provide care and treatment for cataracts, glaucoma, eye motility disorders, diseases of the cornea, retina and vitreous body, ocular inflammatory disorders and ocular, orbital and eyelid tumors.
The VCU Medical Center at Stony Point is conveniently located on the south side of Richmond, off of the Chippenham Parkway, near the Wiley Bridge. The facility offers free parking and is conveniently located on GRTC bus line 65.
